  1. I missed all of you mucho, and Brent a little bit, but he's down here ATM anyway.
  2. Also, got my Fitzcraft SSiPod and cables just before the meltdown, but didn't post quick enough. So freakin' awesome!
  3. As for me, Milo and I finished our kitchen remodel April 13th.
  4. That is gorgeous Jeff! And that's a crazy good price on the Leigh dovetail tool!
  5. Just very happy to be back up and running! Thanks Todd!
  6. I'll give that one a shot. #1 ) Trying to line up tile while looking and working above your head is difficult. #2 ) Trying to set tile that gravity wants to drop on your head is more fun than any human should have. #3 ) Having a neck ache for a week after is part of the gig.
  7. And why should you? Freddy Mercury's are once in a lifetime.
  8. Not really tile exactly, but another fun one was a master bath with Aluminum/acrylic panels by a prominent artist, that I cut and set in the shower. They didn't bother telling me until after I cut and set the three panels, that each panel cost $10,000.
  9. It has a beautiful concave dish, as well as the stunning colors.
  10. It's a handmade tile, so you get the variation in color, but also the variation in size. Some tile setters hate that, because you can't just rely on spacers. I really like the organic look. Milo and I just draw grids on the wall and rely more on our eyes. The cabinets are matte White, or will be once we remove the protective film. The Walnut shelves should really pop on top of the tile, but the homeowner wants a more matte finish than our current Satin clear coat, so a quick sanding with 240 and a new top coat of matte. Plumbing happens tomorrow and electrical trim out on Monday. We'll finish tile setting Tuesday, and should be grouting soon after that. Nate, the homeowners cut it close on tile. A little closer than I'm comfortable with, but it cuts easily, so we haven't actually ruined a single tile yet. But I'll let you know. It's my second favorite tile I've set thus far. The first being the gorgeous tile we set in Doug's master bath.
  11. Yesterday actually, but more tile.
  12. Is there ample room to crawl under your double wide? I'm at my Covid weight.
  13. About 30 days. We'll require airline tickets to the nearest "real" airport, then tickets for the horse and buggy that takes us the rest of the way.
  14. Milo and I hung and plumbed a range hood vent for the kitchen. Then we assembled the new tile saw and started tiling in the kitchen. It went pretty smooth. Milo is already pretty good at setting and cutting tile after only 4 hrs.
  15. Only downhill.
  16. Gimmick in a bottle.
  17. Happy Birthday Doug!
  18. I have boxer shorts older.
  19. Osmo in da house.
  20. Cutting the bar that seats in a pass-through window, and finishing of shelves and bar. That's not even the good side of the bar. That's the bottom.

    Get your game on!

    I love dice and dominoes!
  22. That is a particularly tasty piece of Walnut.
  23. The R10 and Qualia are still two cups on either side of your head. The soundstge is still inside your head. It might be wider, but you can't close your eyes and locate the instruments on a stage. They'll never be in front of you, but instead they're inside of you.
  24. The AKG K1000 comes closest, but even then it can't compare to a live music experience.
