I have a feeling, at least for me, 20 would be too wide. 50 was too close for most of my shots, but damn the canon 50/1.8 is so cheap it doesn't hurt to keep it.

I keep my XTw/E3 grip, a sigma 70-300, sigma 24-70, a few filters, charger, etc. in a Kata sling bag. I bought it specifically because I like to walk around with my gear (hiking, etc) and this ix a convienant way to carry, and get at my camera quickly.
