I'd say Beats by Dre logo is more recognizable. I just tried to think of the Skullcandy logo and came up with nothing. Turns out, it's a little skull. Oops. Plus Beats by Dre logo actually looks pretty cool and would look nice on the black shell imo.

Time magazine article on JH Audio: Earbud Reviews: Listen Up Before It's Too Late - TIME Just read it, they praise JH Audio for doing custom IEMs that block more noise than other headphones, thus saving people's ears. No mention of their superior SQ, lol... methinks the author hasn't heard any JH's.

Hey GPH and other HA-006+ owners, HA-006++ Special Edition pre-order just went up. It's supposed to have a number of upgrades... stepped attenuator this time for volume control for one... and a bunch of other stuff that may or may not improve the sound. Anyway, I'll be able to compare to my HA-006+ now when I get it, I pre-ordered one myself just now. The coolest thing is that you can choose your own gain (1x / 3x / 11x) this time. I chose 1x since I plan to use it with JH-13's in the future. Oh and I got free shipping. Maniac's been posting in the other forum about it under the review for Sheer Audio HA-006+ (DynaLo) ? thread. Wow, I found this on the fan photos section of the Facebook page and it really seems their printing process has improved greatly. This was posted up on Feb 24 of this year, Oh wait, it says it's a mock-up... so I guess that's not the final product. Well done mock-up though.

Interesting. Imperfections how? I would guess of how the mold was done? This is unrelated but in case anyone was wondering, I asked Jaime about the ambient vent option and she replied, "We do not offer this option for the JH16 and do not recommend it for the JH13. The sound is not as good."

Which size memory did you guys get? For reference: 16gb - $499 32gb - $599 64gb - $699 To me, 32gb looks nice. I don't think I would use it as a music player and 32gb seems enough to hold all the apps I want + a few movies.

Justice - Cross I just got this in 24-bit vinyl FLAC and my HF-2 has never sounded better. I never knew they could put out this much quality bass.

I am really enjoying this album. It sounds sooo good on my HF-2, really well produced.

I'm way late to the party but here's a musing from a new HF-2 owner, had them about a week now. They make everything in the music sound good, which is incredible. The vocals are so much better than the K702, full and rich whereas K702 is very airy. I find myself grooving to just about every part of the music. But the strange thing is songs where I used to have a Wow moment... I don't seem to get those as much with the HF2. I can actually get that on my K702 more I would say. I think it might be because the HF2 makes everything sound so good, that the parts that are supposed to be noticeably better and amazing aren't anymore. I'm still really pleased with my purchase and low volume level listening is great. I'm still getting used to the comfort, how do you guys wear them? I try to put all parts of the outside cup so they rest on my ear, which works for about an hour... then it really starts to hurt! The problem is I usually don't take them off at that point since I'm enjoying myself so much... so by the end of it my ears really hurt. I'm hoping that my ears will harden and I'll be able to listen to these for long periods of time with no discomfort.

Had a good experience ordering a HA-006+ Plus Edition from acoustic-fun.com. Total shipped was $325 from Taiwan to Seattle, ordered on Tuesday Feb 9 and received on Saturday Feb 13! It definitely makes my HF-2 and K702 sound better. This is my first really good headphone amp, previous to this I was using a Claro Halo soundcard that had a headphone amp built-in. Since I'm a noob I can't report much else, other than my headphones sound better and I'm happy with my purchase. Source is computer using RCA outputs on Claro Halo soundcard.

Many thanks for posting the pdf. Now I want to research the HD650 more, as they didn't mention anything about a boomy/overdone bass.
