Here is a link to a Stax distributor in Thailand. The conversion rate of Thai Baht to US$ is around 30:1. http://www.jetliveaudio.com/index.php?mo=29&keyword=Stax

The Headcase Stax thread
To my ears, HE60 is no comaparison to even the Stax SR202 and I prefer SR007 to SR009.

The ultimate DIY? A Stax SRM-T2!
I haven't replaced the o-ring yet. Yes, it was broken, but I glue it back using super glue. Well, I wouldn't say that HE60 sounds like crap. They are just not as pleasant to listen to as compared to the other bigger phones.

The ultimate DIY? A Stax SRM-T2!
Please allow me to add a few pictures of my T2. And these are a few headphones that I have tested with T2 so far. What can I say? T2 has so much power. It loves big headphones. With T2, HE60 sounds like a child toy when compared to SR009, Omega or even my own DIY phones.

The ultimate DIY? A Stax SRM-T2!
I just want to reconfirm Andy's solution of solving the noise issue. I've changed out all the PRP resistors in the active batteries and replaced them with 1% Royal resistors (Thai brand). After that is done, there is no more noise. The amp is dead quite. The voltages from all active batteries are very stable, and it is very easy to adjust the output +/- voltages to be close to 0. Wachara C.

The ultimate DIY? A Stax SRM-T2!
Hi Blubliss, I use PRP resistors and I also have noise problem. I'll try to change all the resistors in the active battery and see if I can get all the noise out. Thanks a lot for your info. Wachara C.
