  1. One case of Fever Tree tonic water which arrived today from Amazon. Any bets on what will be posted in "What are you drinking" tonight?
  2. No, the blind guy only drove TO Munster. I let Vicki the (then unbeknownst to me) handicapped person drive back to O'Hare. )
  3. New eyeglasses. Clear bifocals for around the house, bifocal sunglasses for the car and out-of-doors and office lenses for computer stuff at work.
  4. I'm late but congrats on the new digs Matt.
  5. Caught up on about 4 episodes of Doctor Who today so that the season finale makes sense tonight.
  6. Man, that sucks big time. The album covers the most. We're south of you but luckily, no basement to flood. At least most of your gear stated dry.
  7. Just did two cedar planked NY Strips on the grill while Debbie whipped up a batch of gorgonzola mashed potatoes. It was a wonderfully simple dinner that tasted amazing.
  8. From the Mono box.
  9. Try the New Albanian stuff and let me know what you think.
  10. Had lamb kababs and various other goodies at a local Middle Eastern restaurant. Great hummus and baba ganough too. Oh, and Turkish coffee to finish. Mmmmmm.
  11. Beautiful. And I can only imagine how it sounds.
  12. Al, flippityfuckinferociousfabulous!! The Moth looks sweet!!! Me, I bought some Plymouth gin tonight.
  13. I have a couple of boneless pork chops marinating in olive oil, balsamic, scallion and garlic to go on the grill shortly. Accompanied by baked potatoes.
  14. Don't discount the replacement Vicki. My 90 year old mother had a knee replacement this year and was only down for about 6 weeks. She is walking 100% better now. I know an ankle is a much more difficult proposition than a knee, but it's at least worth researching. And I think who the surgeon is makes a big difference. Mom's is pretty well known in this area and does excellent work. Do your homework and you may find it a viable solution. Regardless, take care.
  15. Congrats to Nate. Just another day in the world for me.
  16. I wish I could find Fever Tree locally.
  17. Where in Indiana? I'm a Hoosier by birth.
  18. Ouch. Sorry Shelly.
