Debbie took me out for dinner at Maple Tree Inn, one of the best Cajun places in Chicagoland. Started with 6 oysters 2x2x2 - 2 Rockefeller, 2 Bienville and 2 Deviled. Then 6 grilled oysters. It was such a rollercoaster... on the 8th I bought and listened to the new album. I thought it was one of the five best of his career. Having no idea of his health status, I even hoped that he would tour as I had seen him many times, but Debbie had not. And then the 10th. And he was gone. From feeling so high to feeling so low. A lot of music has been important in my life. None more than his. Happy Birthday and Goodbye again David. The music will never go away.
