There better not be any wind so I can use the BBQ to help out with the roasting. Perhaps now would be a good time to introduce the Russians, Italians, French and Czech people to Spam. Thursday Olympic fencers from Italy, France, Czech Republic, and possibly Mexico along with two olympic coaches will begin arriving for a week and a half training camp here at our club. Lance will be fortunate enough to be able to fence with some of them to get himself ready for some upcoming national tournaments. We will be hosting the Christmas eve dinner which may end up being pretty huge. Shits about to get real.

While walking around Hollywood last week I had some guy selling watches out of his van offer me a Rolex GMT Master at a huge discount due to some dirt and blood on the bracelet. Great deal for me but a bit odd. Proof that the bricks and mortar retail model is dying.

Wow very dejavuish. The speakers look very similar to my DCM Time Windows and the receiver looks very similar to my Pioneer 1010. Both of which I keep in my home office just for memories of the good old days.

Not sure where this belongs so I will just drop it here. My middle son earned his music degree from the university back in June and landed this intern position at a large recording studio in Hollywood. I thought you mixer geeks would appreciate this shot of one of the studio rooms. A SSL 4000 or 9000, they have both not sure which one this is as if I give a shat. TAD speaker components and get this Augspurger enclosures. This may mean something to some of you but it's Greek to me.
