If you don't have a ceiling fan and your landlord won't allow you to install one you might consider buying a small box fan and placing it up as close to the ceiling as possible and have it blow air down towards the floor. I will bet you have a lot of warm air accumulating up in your ceiling.

Just returned from dropping my daughter off at LA's skid row. The Los Angeles Notre Dame club is sponsoring a two day retreat for students working and serving the homeless in downtown LA. It is one thing to read about these homeless folks and see the newscasts but to see them up close and personal camping out on Hope street (how ironic) in cardboard boxes and under tents made of painting tarps taped together kind of makes one reconsider their priorities. The college kids who are giving up the last few days of their Christmas vacation to work helping others are pretty special.

Hmm, looks a lot like the BlackX dock which we have. (Fingers crossed) Ahh, ours won't work as our BlackX is for the larger 3.5 HDs, Thanks Marc, the ICY handles both 2.5 andv3.5 HDs which is more useful, I will pick one up tomorrow.

We had to replace the HD in my daughter's MBP today. Even though she has done regular backups we would like to search the old HD for missing documents. Is there a connector anyone can recommend that will allow us to move files from her old HD which has now been removed from her MBP to the newly installed HD?
