Yelp, who knows if the developers of any program you do run would come out with an app in the future... if you can control something like this with an free app whats stopping companies from coming out with app's to control the temp in your house, dim the lighting, etc in the future. of course this is all nothing really new it's just has a easy to use base... 2.0 Rocks!

As i said on headfi the iPhone 2.0 software is awesome! it is exactly like i said it would be, as in opening another few doors for Apples product. the biggest and baddest App i used sofar on mine is the Itunes remote. something so badass as controlling your itunes files (all of them) from your phone anywhere in the house/business. the best thing about this App is it's free, no new hardware needed to buy or anything. last week over the holiday weekend i had to bartend and DJ at once, it's impossible to be in two places at once and i also been loosing out on keeping an eye on the Sales Floor when i am stuck behind the DJ Booth all these fridays anyway...well not anymore! bring a small laptop with a backup of my collection with a wireless router to setup a small wifi network and then connect the lappy to the PA...presto doing two peoples jobs at once with ease! so the iTunes remote function works Great! Monkey ball is harder then it looked and the game the Band is pretty addicting also. Weather Bug App is times better then the standard weather app, it has pics of local skys and Radar!!! Mobile news app is awesome for on the go updates on shit we don't care or need to know about...like the news! Ebay App is a dream for any serious Ebayers.. Myspace App Sucks balls..if it didnt it would not be a true Myspace representing,, AOL Radio and 105 Classics are your new radio way of life, say good bye to those shitty xm/Sirius stand alone units. iScopes app is pretty cool if your into that thing... the Boxoffice App is badass for finding times and local movies being played at local theaters, also the rotten tomatoes reviews are cool these are just some of the app's i have on mine, most are free. go to engadget to find out how to download 2.0 early if you want. then again it should be released in less then a day...

Get rid of using Flac and any Lossless type all together, start using the mentioned 128 compressor people have talked about before. 1.5tb will take awhile but the payoff is well worth it in the end, small, universal, and a sound quality not to be messed with. I had to redo my entire collection of 4,500+ lossless in two weeks flat for my business (had no choice between formats..only mp3), it got done but needless to say i didn't leave the house much. the major time killer is tagging all the tracks out... hope you at least tried the compressor mentioned and compared the two formats, if not then do it when you get a chance. it killed apple lossless head to head everytime on every set i tried,,,and that was a lot of listening!

When the Bangle lead design team at BMW put out their first major redesign (the last 7 series some 7+ years back) people ripped on him and BMW for the lines of the car, the iDrive used to control every aspect instead of a bunch of buttons, etc funny part is years later every luxury car has their version of the iDrive and has copied the same lines Bangle got ripped for years back.. These boys and girls were always leaders and this "concept" not only shows cues to the new z series that's coming but changing the game up once again..maybe in the future with the fabric body. and don't ever ask a BMW designer about cup holders as one Tech in Training found out the hard way... Basically the Designer yelled something at him like "Do you Drive Zee Cup holders?" with a heavy German tone....haha

Both are completely overrated IMO, but both are still good. they both made history and the members either are history or look like they been dead for the last few decades. I have the stones greatest hits cd on my ipod and i play it often enough i my bar that i have to switch out to Zepplin/deep purple/etc. i have no beatles now on my ipod mostly due to the fact the overhype of them always drew me away. i have lots of beatles vinyl but never gave it a spin... i am redoing my itunes music with EAC/codec at 128 replacing all the lossless files from scratch..i only have to replace 2000 more songs! but my point is my friend gave me about 80 cds to throw on my itunes after i am done replacing. lots of beatles cds are included so i will have them in the near future..then i will give them a bit more of a serious listen. Beatles/Stones/Zepplin/Elvis are all really overated to me...again they are good but there is plently better out there.
