The light source was a pair of colored CFLs, one red and one blue.

I haven't posted any photos here in ages. All of the above except for the top photo are from one particularly crazy night at a friend's house. Observant Head-Casers will remember I bought a pair of ADJ Jellyfish LED blinkenlights a few months back.

Pioneer was an awesome company in the 1970s. For the last 15 years their CDJs have been the industry standard. Their DJ mixers are okay, though other companies (Allen & Heath, Rodec, Ecler, Rane) are far better. Their DJ headphones are rubbish. Most headphones marketed to DJs are crap, even for the purposes of DJing. Acres of fragile silver plastic that doesn't hold up worth a damn. The only DJ cans worth their asking price are Sony MDR-7506s. Get off my lawn!
