  1. Doctor's orders, can't argue!
  2. Helped out my friend Steve, who showed up earlier than I expected him. Developed a nasty headache. Politely declined to attend a trip to the strip club with my housemate, the other Steve, and a bunch of the diner staff. Completely and utterly failed to rewire this gorgeous art deco lamp/sculpture. I am sad and defeated, and my fingers are killing me. I might have to enlist the help of a professional, if I can find one.
  3. I usually loathe XKCD, and I thought that one was pretty amusing. I've been dealing with that issue since the dial-up BBS days, 18-ish years ago.
  4. Buy whatever Canon PowerShot you can afford, get it in a brick & mortar store, and buy an extended warranty. I prefer ones that run on rechargeable batteries vs. AAs (unless you want to futz with rechargheable AAs.) Buy the memory card online, probably from NewEgg.
