Not yet bought, but in the process of getting tickets for the Within Temptation concert. If I can score time off when I get to work tomorrow, then I'll buy airfare up to Newark. Why did you have to tempt me with this, Colin. Auuuggghhh. Oh how my wallet weeps.

Well I actually hit up the usual suspects earlier tonight to restock the liquor cabinet and grab a minikeg of Oberon for the weekend, and didn't see it. But hopefully it'll make its way down here at some point. Fitzy approves.

I've had a fair bit of whisk(e)y over the course of the night without barely feeling the effects. I don't know if I should be sad I don't get a buzz, or happy I can enjoy that much without any hindrance.

Reminds me that I need to buy some more gin.

What kinda temps do you get at that speed?

I never really could get into Oblivion, if only because of it's fundamentally broken levelling system. Being a JRPG player where levelling up is generally a mandatory exercise... going into a RPG where levelling up actually hinders you is something very difficult to work with.

Maybe not dominate, but at least I'll get owned in beautiful high FPS HD. I think it'll peak somewhere between 500-600 watts at full load, depending on how I clock the CPU and GPUs, although real world peak usage is likely to be a fair bit less. I'll probably need a new UPS to be able to stay in-game during a power outage though. A last gen Corsair one. It's a temporary thing for OS and my main apps/games, until prices come down even more when I'll replace it with a better quality one that can also hold all my apps/games and just use the 2TB for media storage.

Finally broke down and used my last paycheck to order parts for a new PC. One can only deal with playing 2-3 year old games at low framerates on mediocre settings for so long. I've been out of the loop too long so who knows how poorly I chose, but I ended up ordering dual gtx560s, i5-2500k, 8gb ram, 115gb ssd, 2tb hdd, etc, plus the various other sundries to make it all work.

The 3rd one reminds me of the Kagamine twins.
