  1. Mikkeller Funkyⓔ★
  2. The differences are pretty minor and subtle (just minor tweaks and improvements, no Lucas stuff here), the only really obvious one is they drop the spoilerific opening narration.
  3. Brewdog Hardcore IPA
  4. Mikkeller 10 (IPA). A bit unusual to say the least.
  5. Starting off with a DFH 90min IPA for IPA day.

    For all the VVVVVV players:
  7. I love how everyone is all excited at the end... "Yay, you broke your windshield for no good reason! Good job!"
  8. Hory shet, congrats man! Although I'm completely not surprised it happened by accident.
  9. At least until Jeff takes control of his head.
  10. Dayum. Were you able to get it covered before much water got inside?

I don't really see what's special about the photo?
  12. I haven't noticed it, but if I see it I'll definitely pick it up. I can find most of the usual suspects for bourbon here, but rye just seems to be a bit of an elusive figure. I think Bulliet Rye is the only other readily available one I haven't tried.
  13. I'm pretty sure the Toco Giant has the Rendezvous, so I'll definitely have to pick it up next time I'm in that area. The weird smell/taste of the Double Rye I first noticed has faded since I initially opened it, but it still lacks the distinct spice and bite of the other ryes I've had.
  14. Wasn't really feeling it with the Boulevardier, so it took longer to finish it. On the Everyman now and even it is kinda lacking this time. I think the High West Double Rye is just fail all around, to be perfectly honest.

Oh sweet, thanks for the link.
  16. Finishing off a dry martini, going to have a boulevardier next, followed by an everyman.
  17. Well I found a Negroni variation called the Boulevardier that uses rye or bourbon in place of the gin, so maybe this should be the Everyman.
  18. This again. Don't know if my proportions were slightly off this time, but I'm getting more rye bite out of it now, which was the original goal of reducing the amount of campari from the initial mix (which tasted mostly of campari). If any of the senior mixologists read this, I'd love to know if this is an actual cocktail, and/or their thoughts on it and what might be done to improve it.
  19. Decided to fuck around a little since I have no idea what I'm doing and ended up with a drink made with 2 1/2 oz rye, 1/2 oz campari, and 2 dashes of peychaud's. Is there a name for something like this? Not anything great, but it's immensely drinkable.
  20. I'm getting the same issue with it just sitting at "saving post" and not updating. EDIT: But not always, apparently.
  21. Trying it now, a bit unusual compared to the other cocktails I've made... doesn't really have a distinct "new" flavor, but the individual flavors kind of ebb and flow. Also going down very quickly.
  22. Looks pretty cool. I'd be half-tempted for one, but I can just move the gin and vermouths to the beer fridge in the basement, at the expense of convenience.
