What are you drinking now, pt 2.
As per the gin elders' advice: Hendrick's / Fever-Tree G&T with cucumber. It's certainly different than what I'm used to, not bad at all.

My store was out of Bluecoat gin so I got Hendrick's instead. Haven't tried it yet, its one of the good ones, right? Also saw they have all 3 of the St. George gins now too.

Metaxa 7 Star- Any NYC area HCers wanna chill?
Since Colin has been gracious enough to let me crash at his place, I'll be in the NYC area from the 7th to the 12th for a couple concerts (7th and 10th). If any NYC area HCers are gonna be free and want to meet up for drinks or food or whatever, let me know and we'll make it happen.- HC/F1 In Austin 11/18/2012

@Marc: I sincerely hope for some good news in the very near future. @Shelly: As a fellow southerner who is no stranger to droughts, I hope the weather patterns change and you get some much overdue rain. I got a fairly expensive speeding ticket on the way back from Brent's (state patrol had a pretty major fundraiser setup in Bartow county), which he seemed to feel pretty bad about. I'd like anyone to reassure him that it was my stupid butt that's at fault, and he had absolutely no part in the matter and shouldn't feel the least bit bad about it. I talked my way out of what would've been an even more expensive one a month or two ago, so I don't feel this is entirely unfair for me to get. It's more the hassle of having one less card than it is the actual theft. My bank is pretty easy to deal with about it... unless it's a pretty large sum of money, they'll credit the money back and issue a new card without me having to take any other steps. Only time I had to do more was a couple years ago when they made the brilliant decision to order a bunch of shit online and ship it to their apartment. Since it was pretty close to where I live and a decent amount of money, they were a little more reluctant, so I just had to call the local PD and file a police report over the phone, gave the bank the case number, and then they released me from any responsibility for it.- And now what did you do TODAY?
I thought you were gonna lose control of one or more bodily functions. Everything about the pic was completely unplanned and unexpected.- What are you drinking now, pt 2.
Not so much a delicacy, but I thought it became popular in Hawaii during WW2 because it was one of the few foods that were readily available.- And now what did you do TODAY?
Got a message from fraud prevention at my bank and found out someone was illegally using my credit card # locally. Pisses me the fuck off, but I'm kinda impressed their system was able to detect and decline the fraudulent activity despite me not really having a real "pattern" for transactions. Of course since I'll be out of town next week, means I had to procure a prepaid visa and a bit of cash to ensure any expenses on the trip are covered until I get a new card.- What are you drinking now, pt 2.
Lots and lots of Bell's Oberon from a mini-keg. I intended to open it tomorrow, but my sister will be staying here over the holiday weekend so I took first crack at it.- Post the last thing you bought!

Not really, you can't see the wires behind the drive cage without taking the other panel off, and you can't really see the power wires stuffed up top without getting at a good angle and shining a light in there.- Post the last thing you bought!
And I didn't even do any cable organizing, besides tying up the slack on the fan wires. I just shoved everything over into the unused 5.25" bays or behind the drive cage. - And now what did you do TODAY?
