High West Double Rye It's not bad, but there's something off about the taste I can't quite put my finger on.

Aberlour 12 EDIT: I remember this being discussed before but I had no luck finding it via search. Does anybody have any suggestions for a kind of "standard" set of liquors and liqueurs to have stocked to make most common cocktails?

That sucks, but shouldn't his insurance be paying for your repairs, not yours?

Not really worth driving over there for $4; I'd probably be spending just as much in gas.

My first negroni. First reaction: dang, that's bitter. Second reaction: dang, that's good.

Bluecoat / Fever Tree G&T I honestly didn't expect to notice such a difference in tonic water.

AKG K400 - what's similar new?
Those are by far the most important things. The way I see it, all the audio hobby stuff is just incidental due to how most of us have met.

flat panel mount advice?
No easy way to tell other than looking through enough reviews, or any obvious flimsiness in the construction. We recently tried some tilting brackets from another supplier that looked perfectly fine, but when actually hung on the wall the TV would always drop to the most tilted-down position, no matter how tight the knobs were. On most brackets you should be able to shift the TV over that much using the swing arms and still have enough to pull it out the 10-12". As long as it specifically says it can handle 24" on center stud spacing, it should be fine. There's a lot of brackets that are literally 24" wide which would require a bit of creativity to mount.

And I have a K400 and K401 that aren't getting any use.

The secret decoder ring is more commonly known as "reading comprehension" in most literate societies. I'm sure you'll be able to find one eventually when you grow out of trolling.

AKG K400 - what's similar new?
You do realize you're acting like the biggest ass here, don't you? Now I'm glad I didn't actually take the effort to make any kind of detailed response, if you consider pointing out the variance in K400s is such an asinine response.

AKG K400 - what's similar new?
If it's the pair I'm thinking of, then yeah, it was essentially just a K400 with a different appearance.

We'll have to consult the west coast legal team to see if this is even allowed.

Thanks! I suppose you're the one I can blame for this. I've had a hard time finding much rye around here period. I did see the Old Overholt too, that's the "panther piss" one right? It was only ten bucks, which alone was enough to scare me away.
