Parasound has amazing Customer Service. After a google search I was unable to find a schematic for my Parasound DAC. Failing that, this past Saturday, I sent an email to their service department. Within minutes Richard replied that he would look when he got into the office on Monday. I was surprised at the quick response, and on a Saturday at that. Today, Sunday, I received an email from Tony with the schematic attached. How's that for customer service?

Production board looks great. Is that a fully discrete output stage? Nice!

That's what I like about them. a) you know you are getting good contact since they don't slip, you can hold both probes with one hand and tweak with the other.

Very nice. Weird that they don't have 46" models like we have here. Also, I hate your cheaper prices. Our prices MSRP.

I wish I could advise you further. Like audio, everyone sees somewhat differently as well. Neither technology is perfect. Some people see the shortcomings of plasma and that really bothers them. For me the shortcomings of LCD really bother me. Obviously this is from my own personal, limited, experience. Also TV's are really hard to shop for in-store. LCD's always look so much better in that environment. If your passion is to see a good movie, and enjoy how it was meant to be viewed, then for me the choice is plasma.

Panasonic plasmas have a half life (ie. half brightness) of 100,000 hours.

Then go out and buy a Panasonic Plasma and never look back.

How are they getting along? Are they playing well together? Congrats Jay!
