  1. Uggh... floods suck Aerius! Screw the look Vicki, if the Brooks makes you happy, stick with it, even on the Kirk. Also, have you seen their new non-leather saddle? http://www.brooksengland.com/catalogue-and-shop/saddles/touring+%26+trekking/Cambium+C17+S+Ladies+Ltd+Ed/ Seriously overpriced IMHO, but early ride reports seem favorable, and you wouldn't have to worry about rain, etc. with it.

    Ray Donovan on Showtime

Yes, I watched the premier and thought it looked promising as well.
  3. Happy Birthday Mike!
  4. Happy Birthday Birgir!
  5. You guys watch HR? I figure if I'm not in the ditch, it be good Raffy: you are trying to get your bars lower? I ran across this calculator today which might be useful http://yojimg.net/bike/web_tools/stem.php Doesn't work so well for my quill stems Or maybe it would.
  6. Happy belated Birthday Greg!
  7. Best wishes to you two!
  8. Happy belated Birthday(s)!
  9. All I will say re: Giordana is that there shit, while really nice, does run small. I have a jersey that my brother gave me that is a "5" Euro sizing, that is supposed to be their XL. It fits more like a medium, as in, I would be comfortable wearing it when I get down to 170. And it is a "Campy" jersey
  10. Happy Birthday Scott! Luv the cake Al...
  11. Happy Birthday Justin! Hope you have a great one!
  12. Interesting article! I am most concerned with maximum chain life, which though hinted at here, isn't directly measured. The Chain'l seemed to perform middle of the pack in terms of efficiency, and is not really dirtier than other lubes I've used after a few hundred miles. I've never tried any of the dry lubes, and might just for the hell of it, particularly one which has a lot of PFTE in it.
  13. Nice ride Mike! I'm confused regarding lube. Why would ceramic be a good idea in a chain lube? Or is it just the typical use of a buzz word; ceramic.. must be good. I'll stick with Chain'l. Marshall, have you tried wiping the chain down lightly with a rag with a solvent (mineral spirits) on it? The lube only needs to be in the rollers, anything else is unnecessary. You are applying a drop to each roller, then wiping it down after it has had time to soak in, aren't you?
  14. Great team to the Bruins as well! Congrats Hawks!

  17. When I read this thread title, my first thought was "Which of our new non-native English speaking friends started this thread?" Sorry, carry on...

    R.I.P. James Gandolfini

Yes, shocking... way too young. RIP.
  19. Most audiophiles equate "build quality" with physical heft/weight (and pretty circuit boards with nice symmetrically-laid out components). Many discrete I/V and/or output stages are nothing more than discrete op-amps anyway. Just because it is discrete doesn't mean it will perform and sound better. Looks and feels impressive though...
  20. ^ Thanks for calling me slow I think I got a glimpse of one reason you can ride that hard in one of your posts in a bibs thread on thepaceline where you noted you were a high jumper (?) and had disproportionately large thighs, and therefore shorts didn't fit you well, but bibs did. I don't have that problem, hence slow...
  21. ^ Roads. There is a reason they built them originally, and still do to this day. Hope that helps
  22. Happy Birthday boyz!!!

I know I'm in the minority here, but I don't see that he really did anything with it (other than one lyric change). This always had the feel to me of going thru the motions for a CD to make some bux... As much as I respect Johnny Cash, it just never did anything for me.

Enjoyed the Zep tribute Jim, though I thought the strings etc. were a bit over the top, but fitting I guess for the concert. Overall, I thought Heart did a very good cover though. I'll have to see about seeing more of that concert. Maybe its just me, but I far prefer NIN's original Hurt to the Johnny Cash version.
