  1. Happy birthday!
  2. This. Also, I'm not too sure about the "funky" UI. Still, it's great to see Microsoft innovate for once and I could certainly find some use for a tablet-like device that incorporates seamless handwriting recognition.
  3. I'd say you're about to review the T-800.

Red looks great! It might be a stupid question, but does it sound the same as your former pair?
  5. Happy birthday Nate!
  6. All of my gear is Dusty-certified, the Slim will be no exception.
  7. Good luck Nate, I hope it's nothing serious! Look at his smile, you can't fault this guy for anything, he looks totally innocent.
  8. Admit it, you're jealous and you'd like him in your team. Oveshkin is alright, but...
  9. Common, that's unfair. Sure, he wasn't the best Canadian player throughout the tournament (I'd give that to Getzlaf personally), but this guy always shows up in the important occasions and in the last game he was at the right place at the right time. The game could have swung both ways in overtime, and calling Crosby's goal the greatest travesty of all time is highly exaggerated.
  10. Get the RSA Protector, it has received good reviews on Head-fi and it's basically a full-size balanced amp in the chassis of a portable amp. Don't be put off by the small size, it can make the K701 go to ridiculous volume levels, even on medium gain.
  11. I watched the Canada-USA hockey game with my buddies, what a fucking epic game! Crosby's the man!
  12. Sounds perfect for covering Metallica's latest albums.

    Good stuff Dan! Birthday present?

Make sure you recable the JH16 with at least 18AWG cable, the stock cable might be too small to make the bass fit inside.
  15. Happy birthday!

Hell yeah! JH13 are easily the best audio purchase I've ever made. Cool, that was my reasoning too when I chose translucent black, low profile is where it's at.

Sweet! What color did you go for?
  18. It's a great movie, you should watch it. The emotion present here is more insanity than goofiness/happiness, he was just about to kill one of his coworkers with an axe.
  19. Yes, it's from American Psycho.

Cool, keep us updated with your impressions! Design seems a bit understated for reference cans, perhaps they look better in person?
  21. The "New Posts" page layout is messed up on my Touch, anybody else getting that?
  22. Larry, this hobby is about having fun and enjoying music, don't put too much thought in what people think of your decisions. Truth is, most people here don't care at all.

Wow, the Head-fi thread is a massive douchebaggery contest, it's incredible how some people lack manners on the internet. Apparently TTVJ fucked up, but it's not like he owed anything to anyone and I think this sale was a pretty nice gesture from him to his customers. I hate those asshats who are destroying the small bit of community that still exists at on HF.
  24. I'm sorry to break your theory, but the two ESP950 I've had squealed out of the E90.
