I missed half of the second period yesterday watching that show. There wasn't much to miss though, the Habs were simply inferior to the Bruins in every aspect of the game. The most exciting moments were when Komisarek got punched by Lucic and when Carey Price pulled a "Patrick Roy". This team has really hit the bottom of the barrel and it's not going to get better with all the free agents this summer. Anyway, less hockey on TV means more time to do useful things.

Without the windshields and in a black chassis, it'd be one of the best-looking headphone amps out there, much better than Ray's bling A-10. It's a good year for electrostatic owners.

Lil' Knight, do you have a good speaker amp you can use? If it's the case, the Stax transformer boxes are nice budget option. I thought the O2 sounded better out of a SRD-7 Mk2 (using either Cambridge 840A or Quad II as speaker amp) than a SRM-T1 or SRM-007t. By "sounded better", I mean it had more dynamics and punch and it had a less sleepy sound than with the tube amps, with the sacrifice of some microdetails though.

I've tried pretty hard to get into them after several suggestions from friends, but they're one of those bands whose melodies just don't appeal to me, along with Radiohead.

Yeah, maybe, but previously it was "controlled" mindless wanking and only for short amounts of time. Now it's just uninspired mindless wanking taking half of the song. Their older albums had more of a 80s melodic metal feeling, nowadays it seems like they get their inspiration from crappy nu-metal bands and other bands that I don't enjoy like Muse.

Dream Theater - Black Clouds And Silver Linings (2 leaked tracks) Unfortunately, it sucks ass like their last 3 albums. James Labrie's voice is not even the shadow of what it once was and the vocal melodies are uninspired at best. The instrumentals are just mindless wanking once again and the songwriting is piss poor like on Systematic Chaos. I can't believe they are the same guys (except for the keyboardist) that wrote classics like Images & Words and Awake. I've stopped being a fan after the release of Octavarium and decided to stop seeing them live after the Systematic Chaos tour, but now I'm officially handing my resignation letter.
