  1. Corpse Reviver #2 A quite quaffable Cointreau creation.
  2. So, well... I'm a bit surprised. It's bland. Somehow the rye subtracted flavor from the vermouth. It doesnt taste bad, it just doesn't taste. I also used a lot of cherry bitters. It's like the Coors of Manhattans.
  3. Indeed. That is the plan.
  4. Wait, I lack fiat?
  5. The vermouth is more important than the whiskey. Really. In fact I will prove it tonite.
  6. Thanks Al! So, is the Napoleon more a triple sec or a curaƧao or just another class?
  7. It's not for a T2. I am soldering the pins to a PCB. How does one size a captive nut properly?
  8. Ok, I have a quick question. So, I have some of these sockets, with brackets: I need to somehow embed a nut into the bracket, so I can then secure them to the top of the chassis. I won't have access to the bottom of the socket. I don't know much about PEM nuts, but I was wondering if something like that might work. I'm leary to try an adhesive, or soldering, etc. but maybe it might work, but I'd prefer a better solution. If someone wants to make me a bracket, that's a different story, but let's assume that's not a viable option either.
  9. I'm not sure I understand Shelly. I was looking for a single bag that I could check. I couldn't imagine carrying both a Tri Star and a second bag, but maybe I'm just a wimp. Is that what you were suggesting?
  10. wait, we have a business model?
  11. That sucks. Thanks for the warning! I have faith that HC will guide me on this one
  12. So, I love my Tri Star. Best bag ever. However, I now need something tar could last more in the 10 day range and would serve international duty as well. Any recommendations from this crowd? Maybe Tumi T-Tech Presidio? I'd like something less than $500 for sure.
  13. Rainbow Cocktail (Savoy) with a Monte Carlo chaser....
  14. Would you consider a DIY speaker? I have a quite nice Jordan - Aurum Cantus two-way for sale. Looking for around $1K for them, parts cost essentially. They would do very well with the Pass, as it has the balls to drive them. If you are curious, I have a bunch of pics I can email you...
  15. Jim/Al: Would you mind trying the Napoleon in a 1:1:1 Margarita with a Reposado/Anjeo Tequila? If it isn't horrible, then I can justify a bottle
  16. I see your Old Pal and raise you a Boulevardier:
  17. I see Colin, well-done. Please post review on the Rye!
  18. Widow's Kiss with G-R Apple Brandy. Loverely.
  19. Birgir, how much current through the plate resistors? I might have something you could use to upgrade these... Any metal around where the resistors are?
  20. Wow, very nice!!
  21. Dinny, you need Benedictine. It doesn't have to be refrigerated.
  22. One of my all time favorites: Despite Shelly hooking me up, running low on Benedictine. Man, love that stuff...
  23. Pretty buzzed. Impresed some business guys by correctly calling absinthe in a cocktail from some Hendricks babes. Win. Now, need a proper drink.
