  1. Living Stereo box set arrived. So far, the sound comparable to the redbook layer in the SACD. However, my Krell is (as usual) picky about which SACD it will play, so I haven't compared as much as I would have liked.
  2. ha! ok, also O3 and 03 both count the same. I hope I can recruit a certain elephant to help
  3. the first person that calls these the O3 will die a slow painful death. Just have to put the hit out and that will be that.
  4. Kevin brings up a good point. 1Gs/s is an absolute minimum and 2Gs/s is probably where a DSO will start to compete more favorably with analog 'scopes mentioned.
  5. I wish I had a logic analyzer plug in myself. That perhaps would be the greatest reason to go for the Rigol really, as once you add this to the Tek units the prices really skyrocket. If you do your homework, you'll find an interesting relationship between the Rigol scopes and Agilent. Another brand to consider if you're going more toward the digital side would be some of the entry level LeCroy units. Alternatively, you could consider something like this, which does a pretty good job, given the price and size: Welcome to Saleae
  6. Budget, bandwidth, channels, connectivity, screen type, FFT? Rigol or TDS220?
  7. me neither. Agreed, I think the TTVJ Slim is the best commercial amp period for IEMs.
  8. at least he had one good post I guess.
  9. I just read the same thing. So, is being OOP in this case a good thing or a bad thing? Meaning, how good are the original transfers? I think at the price I'll chance it.
  10. bought. thanks GPH!
  11. where is it imported from? Looks like Korea? I'll probably get one too.
  12. yes, in fact. That's Fitz on the left. How did you know?
  13. if you can plug it in, yes
  14. I'd rather have the mythical titanium plating equipment that they use, thank you very much
  15. ok, so a couple questions that might seem strange, but.. once digital signal shows up on a digital input, what happens? What I mean is, I'm assuming the driver goes into a fetch loop and it just writes that info to disk. Is there room here for errors or quality degradation? What sort of software is there out there do this "recording", any recommendations? Finally, is there some sort of standalone unit that can do this and say dump the data to a CF card or something? I'm mildly curious also how this is done with DSD as well.
  16. Wait, I see some discrepancies here. The title says $2,750 MSRP and the post says $2,749 MSRP. Which is it, because this important to me making a buying decision...
  17. Also just bought one of these: Low cost GPIB-USB interface, Agilent 82357B compatible - eBay (item 170542849941 end time Oct-20-10 07:17:59 PDT) My evil plan is slowly coming together...

  19. 4-pin XLR to banana break out large, high voltage, grabber probes two, 3-pin XLR to banana (or spade) cables. These might need a bit of work, as I believe one of the connections was cutting out, so selling as is. Very nice cables though 4-pin XLR to TRS surgeon silk thread, for turntable belts. Available by the foot. a pair of LED arrays used for prototyping (ended up going with a different config) prototyping board, sealed (for info look up part number) prototyping board, sealed (for info look up part number) Sony ECR-400: From Spritzer, but I lost the other $%$@ baffle, so available for parts / experimentation. These would really make the best SFI donor phone ever. PDIP receiver Koss ESP-950 extension cable LSK389 SOIC-8 to Toshiba 7-zip package adapters Apple-esque Flash drive Rub on, "audio" decals, 3 packs in black and 3 packs in white
  20. Heh, one final update maybe tonite.
  21. perhaps Woo is a middle man, but definitely not the OEM.
  22. Why are they called Woo Audio sockets? oh and buy my stuff.
  23. nice. I hope Panasonic picks up this as a widget... I don't think I'd buy the Logitech thing though... if it was there I'd try it, but not sure I'd pay to try it.
