  1. I voted the HD800. I think I prefer it over the HE90, even given any conceivable (existing, or not-yet-existing) amplification.
  2. you'd be surprised what a good shell costs, let alone a concert hall
  3. um, what do you think a concert hall does?

  6. Did you use a cash back credit card at least?
  7. Doug: I know this doesn't answer your question directly, but would something like a Lenovo Q100 work for you? If not, check this review out, where they mention a DIY fanless setup and follow the links for that.. perhaps that will help. 8. cool. Got that one on Ebay for that price, but free shipping and a buck or so off with Bing
  9. I'm in the market for a diffuser for my Canon Speedlite 270EX. Any recommendations?
  10. At some point or another, we have all lusted after people's gear signatures. However, whose music collection would you like to have? For me, probably Deepak. I'm not sure why, but with some of the things he's sold, I wonder what he's keeping
  11. maybe he has.... in the last 9 months
  12. that would be sweet above one of the TPA DACs... like the COD (+1 Ari's for sale items), or the Opus.
  13. very, very excited
  14. That would simply my life as well. Do they have 4-year old boy models? Can you turn them off?
  15. interesting. However, I'd take two very stable separate supplies, to an unstable tracking supply any day The HP looks to be a good choice in fact, assuming it is or can be brought up to the claimed specs.
  16. must it be dual tracking? I'm not sure those exist. I have a pair of the ones mpwi linked to above, and plan on using them to troubleshoot a beta22 board or two really soon. Obviously, I won't be able to dial in the boards, as I'd need the final supply for that (due to the fact that you sorta get what voltage you get with the sigma22) but you can put them in current limiting mode and fire up a iffy board or two with them... I'm trying to envision a "dual" supply that wouldn't work (i.e. these "mixed reports"), perhaps you have a link?
  17. Heh, the quotation marks were a dead give-away. I do the same thing at work all the time..
  18. my present has arrived
  19. I'd rather have one that uses the dual packages... or at least, the singles closer together and somehow thermally coupled. I'm not sure which (if any) of Justin's use the singles, so I'm sure this statement is of little help..
  20. lol at the silk screen text at the back at the amp
  21. What, Head-Case doesn't understand LaTeX?
  22. he should probably check his closets, he may even have DACses he doesn't know about.
  23. as opposed to the majuscule defenestrate?
  24. I haven't gotten a reply to my PM if you'll be offering the new standardized balanced ultra portable connector or not?
