  1. Isn't that Gallagher in the middle?
  2. Thanks for the site - it looks like a aggregator of all city level GIS site data. And agreed, it has the paths that I know are there that google doesn't. - cool.
  3. Happy Birthdays Shelly.
  4. Back on the Ted Train for season three - and it is not disappointing.
  5. Okay I could not help myself. Build Me Up From Bones Sarah Jarosz 2013 https://album.link/i/1440726347 Example: I just marvel at the talent of the three members of I'm With Her. Together and as individual artists.
  6. Wake Me When It's Over I’m With Her 2023 https://song.link/i/1682394335 The one song: It is just a single, but I am hopeful from the image that there is an upcoming 'live at the Troubadour' release or something like that. Until then I have this on repeat for the afternoon. "I'm With Her covering the Willie Nelson song "Wake Me When It's Over", recorded live as a voice memo in January 2020."
  7. ^ this - thx G. I did appreciate that the commentators mostly were silent, and I enjoyed all the music. Well recorded for an all live performance.
  8. Correct on the BƖC - the other Info: Sammy Hagar - Heavy Metal - From Standing Hampton (Released as Single) Blue Ɩyster Cult - Veteran Of The Psychic Wars - From Fire Of Unknown Origin Journey - Open Arms - From Escape The rest were created exclusively for the Soundtrack, with two exceptions: - Black Sabbath's "Mob Rules" as present on the album, is an early demo (which I like better). It was later Re-recorded on "Mob Rules". - Trust's "Prefabricated" is English-Language version of "Prefabriques", which appeared on "Trust" (a.k.a. "L'Ɖlite"). Tracks that appeared in the movie, but not in OST: - "Through Being Cool" (from "New Traditionalists" by Devo) - "E5150" (from "Mob Rules" by Black Sabbath)
  9. Couldn't pick an album - so just the playlist of all. etc.
  10. Heavy Metal Soundtrack Various Artists 1981 https://album.link/i/320264810 Example: Truly still one of the great movie soundtracks made, with only 3 of the 16 tracks not being directly written for the movie. Had to share the Felder track with one the great bass lines by Abraham Laboriel. And just for fun I found the score. I didn't see it on the streaming platforms.
  11. Idle Moments Grant Green 1965 https://album.link/i/724724533 Example: Frikin' Blue Note. How were you so consistently good at making recordings? Just a wonderful recording capturing the magic of Grant Green. You know, the usual.
  12. Pittsburgh Matthew Stevens 2021 https://album.link/i/1616942712 Example: A Short set of complex tunes from Matthew. I will have to explore, but these were engaging.
  13. Blessings and Miracles Santana 2021 https://album.link/i/1580765405 Example: Santana colab 2021. Overall I really liked it. There is the Example, which is just a bop. To some lovely things with Steve Winwood and the late Chick Corea. Warm Friday evening music.
  14. I do like the overall design of it. And in the price range with a lot of things. It is a statement piece (i.e. not small). More like the monolith in 2001
  15. The Poll Winners Ride Again! Barney Kessel, Shelly Manne, Ray Brown 1959 https://album.link/i/1444008734 Example: This Jazz is so jazzy. In the best way. Great gathering and set. There is still a lot of magic to be found in 1959.
  16. Too many reasons this year: Swing Dat Hammer Harry Belafonte 1960 https://album.link/i/1087732644 Example: Still in awe of that voice. RIP Harry - thank you...
  17. RIP Harry Belafonte https://www.cnn.com/2023/04/25/entertainment/harry-belafonte-death/index.html
  18. But artistic AF Oh wait, that works in a photography thread.
  19. Rendez-Vous Jean-Michel Jarre 1986 https://album.link/i/1027735025 Example: Everything's fine? Everything is fine. It doesn't sound like it is fine Jean-Michel. It's fine. Okay... {doesn't sound fine} It has been a long time since I have listened to this (decades). Spending most of my time listening to Zoolook over the years with it's audiophile goodness. Rendez-Vous has a much more ominous soundtrack feel to it.
  20. Human The Double Album Cody Johnson 2021 https://album.link/i/1582024378 Example: I didn't have any expectations going into this one. Just listening to a pile of country albums off my list (most not worthy). And this stuck out for me. Nice dynamics and storytelling. With combinations of blues and other influences. And throw in a Willie Nelson duet, and I was good to go. Very satisfying for what I wanted.
  21. Thanks again for all your support and generosity. NFLO! I really liked the shirt design that we had this year. It was a 'chance of rain' type of day, like normal around here. But we had a nice gathering, lovely sharing and connection with the community, and then a nice 2.8 mile walk around Green Lake. We hope to continue to make it grow and involve more partners. And continue to share the idea that 'We believe in a world where everyone belongs.ā€ Cheers and thanks, Mikey šŸ™ https://givebutter.com/Walk4Belonging
  22. RIP a lot of images in this (and other) threads. My big loss of images is that I made the mistake of using photobucket back in the day.
  23. New to me: For The Sake Of The Rhyme Madison Cunningham 2018 https://album.link/i/1455275366 Example: I really enjoyed the blues and strong voice. And it seems that they have something to say. It was only 25 minutes, so I moved on to the second 2018 release - much more in the acoustic side. Love, Lose, Remember Madison Cunningham 2018 https://album.link/i/1219398671 Example: Added to my artist list and will check out recent releases.
