I didn't even think there were 20 307A's in existence anymore.

I may have to try it then. For high rez, I've been making everything AIFF in dbpoweramp, then importing to iTunes, then making it 24bit ALAC iirc. I've not bothered converting any high rez for a while now because of this. On a side note, I'm thinking of trying this this weekend for the hell of it.

So far I've only converted stuff in windows, as I heard Max has problems converting stuff to alac. I've never tried it in max. Its a mixture of un-extracted RARs, flac tracks, ape tracks, and album images in either flac or ape w/ cue sheets.

I don't know why, but I've had the impression that the Luxman would make a great amp for these. I think the new version is half the power of the original, and I'm wondering if that would be even better. I really need to send my impressions in:palm:
