  1. No wonder they have financial problems. I can't imagine what it'd be like to experience this every year.
  2. ^^ so how is it?
  3. I don't know why, but I've had the impression that the Luxman would make a great amp for these. I think the new version is half the power of the original, and I'm wondering if that would be even better. I really need to send my impressions in:palm:
  4. misc. maiden songs
  5. Good thinking. (cracks knuckles)
  6. I bought one of those a while ago too, based off Voltron's post. Replaced my duffel bag. Had never heard of the co. before, but his 10 years of use had me sold immediately. There was one all leather one that was like half off and I got that one. But it is only big enough for netbooks probably. I use it for hard drives and stuff anyway though. Duffel bags & hard drives = no-no. The leather feels awesome.
  7. AudiogoN ForSale: Mackie HR824 Mk1
  8. "Pig Destroyer Rig?"
  9. I have a bid in on one right now, should hear back any day if sellers accepted contract. I've already lost a few foreclosure bids, now I'm bidding on a previously approved short sale that fell through. I matched the last approved offer, so the wait is shorter than most short sales, which are typically months.
  10. Bambi vs Deadpool
  11. Splendid. We've been without a protocol droid since...nevermind.
  12. No, I went to bank account for house. I still have the FEEL, but haven't set it up yet. Its waiting patiently in the basement. Given its weight, I didn't feel like lugging it across town since I'm going to be moving soon (hopefully). I still have the HD650s and the Duet, just not that Dac3 or the HP4. Its not worth the bother to sell the HD650s tbh. Plus they are my workhorses.
  13. heh, I had a similar experience Friday. Bethesda to Germantown on 270 in rush-hour, probably a juice box worth left by the end
  14. west German target
  15. Hmm, I've never seen that before. I've only heard the version above. I have some sort of import CD of Going Home as well, which is a terrific album. Haven't heard any other versions of either.
  16. Happy Birthday
  17. Bill Berry & His Ellington AllStars - For Duke Any HC jazz fans who don't have this are missing out.
  18. I've had both, but not at the same time. Also, I used the pico w/ a PC only, and Duet w/ Mac only obviously. Honestly I dont think you'd notice a difference, except that at one point I had to keep re-syncing the Duet, it became distorted. "Refreshing Connections" didnt solve it, but toggling from 16 bit to 24 bit, then back to 16 bit did the trick (you can hear the hardware make a loud click sound each time). The annoying part is you had to close itunes first. I've not had this problem since bringing it all home from the office for some reason. But I never had any such problems with the pico, it was always rock solid.
  19. There was a commercial like this a while ago. My guess is this is the same scene, from another angle.
  20. They lost their old jobs from the economy I think. The vegan stuff is an attempt at a new startup or some such. And they relocated to NC.
