Hmm, I must try. I've used the olives since they came out, but I find they get funky pretty fast with daily use. I like the clean-ability of the Ety triflanges .
-
The Ety rubber triflanges can get itchy for me too. Did you try Shure olives?

I got my SE530s today Headroom to SoCal in one day!!! They are very good, but I view them more as a compliment to my Etys, not a replacement. Very simply: when I want bass, I have the SE530, and when I want treble, I have the Etys.

Sorry, I'm still in HF mode I suppose...

All Sennheisers are faulty.

Serious??? Green pennies and rusty pipes don't count? Anyway, who's going to be the first one to sell pure gold cables for a few $k?
-
If you had to downgrade your entire rig to $500 ...

Shiny white buds? -
Damn-it, now I'm afraid Kobe's pinkie is going to fall off!
-
Me too! OMG! We are, like, soul mates!

Shure SE530. Sharing time with my Ety ER4P/S, I should have all my IEM bases covered.

To Huckabee?

Lakers/Celtics is exactly what I am looking forward to. Resparking the Lakers/Pistons rivalry would be entertaining as well. Gasol was obviously an outrageous steal. It's amusing to hear owners (Cuban) and coaches (Poppovich, D'Antoni) complaining about the fairness of this trade. I don't care how it happened, I'm just glad it did. I am VERY high on Bynum and it will be interesting to see the 7', 7', 6'10 frontline play together.

Any other fans or does everyone here hate 'em??? I grew up 100 miles from LA and have watched them religiously my whole life. Needless to say, I am very excited with how this year is unfolding .

Update: I bought a card at Hallmark last night on the way home from work. When I got home, my wife told me she invited her parents and Canadian cousins over for dinner tonight . I don't think she remembers that it is Valentine's day, so I am most definitely off the hook . I will buy her some flowers and chocolate next week.
-
Congrats. Enjoy the day and I hope you continue to feel the way you do today.
-
That's awesome. I think I'll buy something from Headroom just because of that pic.
-
Holy shit that if funny. I find if disturbing on two levels: 1. That the pic was ever taken in the first place. 2. That the pic still exists.

I made my "helping hands" in my high school shop class, still better than anything I could buy. For wire strippers and cutters, nothing special - just some cheap craftsman stuff. Fungi: In Goleta, check out Marvac Electronics. They have lots of good stuff (Xcelite, etc). Like a good DIY nerd, I spend a lot of lunch hours there just looking around.

Actually, that's a pretty good idea - my wife likes gaming more than I do...
-
Hmmm, I think I'll stick with chocolate. My wife would seriously kick my ass if I got her exercise equipment for any occasion. Anyway, sorry for my immature first post. I was just in a bitching mood. I feel much better now .
-
First off, this isn't a sour-grapes thing - I'm married. Valentine's day is a completely moronic "special" day. Isn't love supposed to be sincere, spontaneous, and distinctly expressed between the couple in love? How do $60 roses and a contrived card really express any kind of true feelings? Anyway, maybe I'm really just annoyed because I have to stop at the drugstore on the way home to buy a card.

Decent? Nothing decent here...I still think you are a spy.

Welcome Drew. I am a relatively new guy too. I found the best way to make friends here is to tell everyone about your RSA and ALO products .
-
Being both based on the AD8397, is the Mini^3 substantially different sounding from the Pico (ignoring all DAC capabilities)?
-
So I did it right, but that didn't let anyone have fun at my expense . It definitely seems like newb-roasting is a HC pasttime, so do whatever you have to do to keep it that way. It is fun, and it keeps the fori "cleansed".
