Are you a weighted keys guy or not? I grew up on the piano, but my first non-piano keyboards were typical unweighted synthesizers, so my idea of touch has more or less bifurcated.
Just curious for more detail about what you liked and didn’t like. I’ve heard the term, Fatar, recommended to me.
Oh, okay (wipes brow, loses interest)
Still interested for my friend though, let me know if/when you decide to move on them. Realize it’s a friend you don’t know, so no need for friend pricing, he’s just frugal enough to want used instead of new.
Understood, and yes, it’s usually those, not the large diaphragm ones.
Plus, you don’t need matched pair unless holographic imaging is your topmost priority.
Do you have both yet (Warm and Neumann)? Do they compare?
Also, I’m sure you already know this, but some microphones come in matched pairs, just like tubes, for stereo recording.
Voivod—everything from Killing Technology to Infini (from after Piggy started working “Piggy chords” into his music to the last album he contributed to)
I’m a huge fan, thanks for posting.
Yes, the influx of “shredders” is his fault, from when he was teaching, but he has a musicality that most of his alumni do not.
Thanks, shared with my local friends in the music community to keep an eye out, including a Guitar Center employee in the Falls Church location. Was reminded that one of them semi-stalked you for a bit, who was that again?
