Gah. Knucks is no longer live. RIP Knucks’ hearing.

Oh, I’m going to give Charlie such a piece of my mind the next time I almost order something from them.

Nope, trying to step down my opinionatedness of other people’s GAS. I’m also just plain not familiar with it. You can try asking in Muff Wigglers or Dungeon Synth. I have an interest in Waldorf gear, but never got anything by them. (Thomas Dolby used a Waldorf PPG back in the day, and I’ve only heard cool things about them ever since.) WTF? I hadn’t even noticed that. I hate Bit-O-Honey and I always get at least one.

Okay, Brent. 🙄

David Sylvian, Gone to Earth I love this album so much, even if you dismiss the ambient sides (which I don’t), it still has an almost post-rock patience to it, but with that solid yet relaxed rhythm section. Bliss.

Well done!

Brent ate a biscuit, and said, “die in a fire” three times.

No, after this, I’m working on an original.

2nd vocal lesson Started working on a cover (Goodloe Byron, Wellness Day, in the style of Born Under Punches). Asked permission. He said he’d be honored, so now I have to. Also, not so much did today so much as benchmarked today — lost another 5-10 lbs. over the last month. I am now 40-45 lbs. down from where I was in March. Win! Still have high blood pressure, though. 😕

Ian Boddy is an amazing electronic musician, in the style of Tangerine Dream—part composition, part improvisation. He considered this his best live tailored event to date, if you read the blurb, so it’s an excellent place to start. I was only there for the first part of the evening. It was glorious. https://din7d.bandcamp.com/album/altair
