Fuse question
Just means it can be used for either.

Fuse question
It is my understanding that current blows a fuse, not voltage. So you can happily use higher voltage parts.

I disagree. The price I sell/buy something for is my business, and a private selling/purchasing decision based on what I am willing to sell/pay for. I don't want it to set a precedent for market price - either high or low. I think that if you can't work out what something is worth to you, without checking what everyone else has had to pay, then you probably shouldn't be buying/selling it. * In any case...... can somebody define for me the word transience...
Blatant cop-out ahead: It depends what sort of sound you are after. If the driver moves too 'fast' on the transients it can become aggressive and harsh. Sometimes something a bit 'slower' can sound smoother and be a bit easier on the ears.

Best method for I to V?
No. I've given you plenty of hints, so I'll come right out and say it. Do your own reading. There is an 80+ page thread on DIY Audio for the Buffalo 24, and a 25+ page thread for Buffalo 32. If you have a specific question in regards to a specific scenario, then come back. Asking vague questions with no background knowledge is useless.

Best method for I to V?
It doesn't matter what board it is on - the Sabre DAC chip at the core of the Buffalo board is finicky in terms of what it needs from an I/V stage. The zapfilter may or may not fit the bill. Use a part specifically designed for it. Or design it yourself.
-
Best method for I to V?
The Sabre DAC *is* the DAC in the Buffalo.

Best method for I to V?
Getting the zapfilter configured optimally for a Buffalo might be problematic, because the Sabre DAC is apparently very finicky. I would recommend you just grab an IVY module from TPA. For only $75, it is a good base to experiment from.

Indeed! It really impressed me how he knew what 'should' happen...... expecting to get wet from the cup full of milk, surprised by the orange juice glass staying in the air, not being happy when his owner put the thing round his neck. Even better was the chimp looking for how the magician was doing it, particularly stuffing the cloth in his ear. Exactly like you would expect from a smart child.

Classic! I've seen a similar one in a library before, but it wasn't as well done as that.
