I don't think you're really doing much of a test if you're using the XLR outs on the dac to test. I mean, it's great if it works, but it's just dumb luck when it does.
I think a pair sold for more than $5900 recently on headfi, so I don't think that price is out of line. That said, I'm not interested in a $6000 pair of sony headphones
yes, participate on things you know, not things you make up. "This sounds like that" great "this is the same design as that, so it is worth $50", when it's NOT the same design, not helpful.
