I've seen locking rcas rip connectors from expensive devices, and wouldn't ever use one.

Chicken of the VNC is a free osx vnc client, and like I said, on leopard, desktop sharing is built in. It works great. You have to make sure the right ports are forwarded on the firewall, but there's no need to get 3rd parties involved.

There are a lot of variables involved in advice about where to live in DC...I like being close-ish to dc so I'm 80 miles away, but my sister lives in alexandria. Maryland suburbs are generally cheaper than VA suburbs, but MD taxes are higher. Adams Morgan is supposed to be a fun area to live. Anacostia is where 80% of dc's murders traditionally take place, but it's supposed to be getting better, now that they put the baseball stadium there.

The HP2 is way more finicky about amps than the L3k, imho. With the perfect amp, I may pick the grado. In most situations, it's all about the audio technica. If you're gonna build an amp around either, go L3000. If your'e not, go L3000. If you already have the perfect amp for the hp2, go hp2. If you want sterile rather than fun, go hp2.

A choice between HP2s and L3000s is like a choice between distilled water and mineral water (pellogrino, etc). Do you want pure or awesome?
