Had another go at the Manhattan. This time with Bulleit, Noilly Prat, and cherry bitters. Much better, I think what made the difference was changing up the bitters.
I'm down with the sickness.

To be honest, I've tried and tried again, but I don't think Manhattans are for me. I find the Sazerac to be a far superior use of rye.
