Ft Riely Kansas. It would be nice if I liked flat land and tornadoes. I don't. I am hoping that a friend can find something for me here.

The Army finds the need to spend taxpayer's money and move units around every three years in between deployments. And I am currently in one of those units scheduled to move in three months

I think it's the same for the rest of us.

Seriously if you need anyone to go to see him in person and the condition of your amp, I have Friday off and would love to see his sweet:rolleyes: operation. Hell if you want tell him I will be there Friday to pick it up and ship it for you. See what kind of reaction that gets.

C.E.S - Vegas Baby!
Yeah it was great that you guys could make it. Hopefully the timing of CJ will work out this year. I might have to remember that one. My friend signed me up for CES and though it would be funny to have me walk around with a Ninja Engineering badge. I can't tell you all the funny looks I got from vendors. Next year I think I am going as a buyer for Wal-Mart. I am pretty sure I got around to hearing those. The only thing I remember about them was that they were clear. Also tried to check out the silly stuff Synergistic Research had, but they had Wilson Watt Puppies as their demo speakers. I would rather shove a pencil in my ear than be subject to listening to Wilson speakers.

HD800? Another rumor?
I was there when Eric said it. Not sure if he quite knew what he was talking about because he also thought the Benchmark had a better DAC than the EMMLabs CDSA. And the Benchmark was the best amp they tried it with. From my brief listen the Pico toppled the Benchmarks built in amp.

Ah the carpet. Both me and the wife actually don't like it and have been planning to replace it for a while but never get around to it.

In that case count me in. I have a buffing pad for my air orbital sander what would work quite well me thinks.

R/C Airplanes was the first hobby I ever got into. Strangely enough I think I like building them more than flying them. Yeah I have to many interests. It's a blessing and a curse. Watches? I would be but the ones I really cost $$$. Maybe when I grow up and get a real job. Being left handed a quality pen would be lost on me. And I prefer the ladies in the buff. I think there needs to be a blushing smiley. Just like having projects and learning new things. Except guitar. Me+guitar=fail. Change it to Denver and I will drive. After my 48 hour trip home I don't think I want to sit in one vehicle for an extended time for a while. Plus I removed the big box from the rear is not longer there. Just takes up to much room. Plus I felt like I should have spinners if I was going to have that much sub in my car. Okay the speaker plays! Still not really finished (waiting on mounting plate for the rear speaker terminals) but I thought I would hook them up and see how they sounded. First thing is placement and room acoustics (dugh) make a big difference. So far I found they sound best spread far apart against the wall and toed in just a bit. They definitely handle the top and low ends just fine. Right now my only complaint is they seem to have to much mid range. Hopefully further tweeks on placement and breakin help. If not a notch filter maybe in order or a really warm tube amp. Hmm tube amp. Mmmmmm.....
