Not sure what you want to spend, but I would go with a Tissot or a Sinn. I collect nice watches, and a $400 Tissot puts my $12,000 Rolex to shame.

Anyone heard these? Are they worth a shit? I may order some just because they look intriguing. I would be using a beefed up Raptor with Tung Sol and Telefunken tubes and an EAR HP4 to drive them with an Esoteric DV-60 as a transport and Reimyo DAP 999. Any opinions would be great before ordering more stuff I won't keep and lose money on. Looks like I need to update my signature, all the heavy duty Esoterics are in my home system now.

Try taking a look at Rogue Audio. My uncle bought one from my dealer, and it sounds lovely with Amphion speakers and a cheap Cambridge source.

Yeah, my room got flooded, plus I wanted to thin some of the enormous amount of money I had stashed in my room. I'm rolling with HD 800's, ED 9's, and PS 1000's with a Lehman and a Raptor with better tubes (all fed through a Spectral DMC 15SSHA). I know this enough to be shunned from the club, but I think I can manage with my HE 60's alone, and maybe some 404's if the mood strikes me. The cool addition has been the Reimyo DAP 999 DAC. It is one bad ass little mother fucker! Especially since they invented (I think) the K2 processing on XRCD's. Cheers.

Woke up and scratched my nuts - the rest of the day is pretty much open - nice to be on vacation.

I have the D-03/P-03/RG-b0. I compared the 5 to the 3 in Singapore only with thier commensurate transport and no clock, and found them to sound very good. I also was able to compare the setup to an X-03 and found the set up to be far superior. The system was all FM Acoustics, which is very different than my own. It sounded very musical, and just blew away my DV-60 (used for video).
