Haven't tried 1/8 on mini Mogami yet, but 1/8" doesn't fit over standard 2534 Mogami well at all. Someone with infinite patience might be able to do it but that isn't me and the 3/16" was able to tighten down onto the cable nicely. Or at least Pete like the sample that I sent him enough to convince me to do a 10' run of it. If you want 10' or so of the 1/8" just shoot me a PM.That is pretty much the plan for my cable. Does the 1/8" fit the best?

You ever going to post more than one sentence there bub? So far your SOP is to drop in, respond to 5 or 6 random threads with short, one sentence replies adding exactly zero to the conversation and then leave for a couple days. Strikes me as magically spamlicious.I think it might be the shading of the smilies that make them intimidating.

Only a couple hundred feet of it.Thanks for the offer.. the cable will be just your run of the mill mini mogami -> neutrik 1/4" I think I can handle $15 in parts
UNLESS... you have nylon multi filament sleeving.. then maybe we can tlak turkey because it would save me (expensive) shipping from another vendor.
I've got 1/8, 3/16 and 1/4 I think.
The cable that I did for DigiPete last night was to strip the jacket and shield off of 2534, run it through 3/16" multifilament and leave a bit exposed at each end so he can terminate it and rewire some cans with it. Ends up being a nice, flexible headphone cable. I'm going to try doing a similar trick with mini-mogami and 1/8 MF, should be a [cartman]sweeeeeet![/cartman]

I do, just playing the part of the indignant DIY'er.You know I'm busting balls.
Anything I can help with, I've got a bit of a stock pile of sleeving and shrink, assuming you're ok with basic black.Parts have been paid for... now awaiting for arrival, and I still have to order the cable parts. -
Why do I fear a laser related blinding occurring at/after that meet now? Please bring that to the SO FLA meet.

Based on what I charged him, no.MOTMOTMOTMOTMOTMOTMOTMOTMOTMOT
How are those pink headphones coming?

FOTMA teleporting butt plug?

I can't believe that he's come up with yet another reason to delay things. I'd be going bat-shit crazy on his forum if it were me, of course then he'd probably "lose" your shipping information for a couple more weeks. I really hope you get your amp Vicky and if you do I hope you (and everyone else) rip Duncan a new asshole for the way this whole thing has been handled.

Better be since the cable is done.just joking

About to put on some Reaper and strip your cable wise-guy, don't push me or I'll go MOT on your ass and start charging you.nice....
now get back to work

Assuming it doesn't bankrupt me, quite possibly.Just a bit. Sounds like your beta22 is gonna be purdy!
I actually want to use this version with the extended legs.
-
Except it's ~18" wide and 4"+ tall, a bit larger than a mac mini.Looks like a Mac Mini... cool.
-
~$400 + shipping? Hmm....
Oh my goodness; the switch, posts, jacks, and power jack all look fabulous as well.
Their custom labeling also looks sweet!

Like I said, not sure I can swing it yet. But if it's between that and using 2 par metals chassis I'm sorry, this is probably one of the last amps that I'll build for myself. It's going to look the business.

6 weeks till the mini-meet, WOOT!Just signed the P&S for a condo... Closing isn't for 6 weeks or so, but that's still 2 to 3 years + 6 weeks sooner than I thought something like this might happen, so I'm pretty excited.
-
Yeah, but their chassis kick the f'ing bag out of stuff this side of the pond.hehe, international business dealings!
I'm not sure I can afford to deal with them yet, unfortunately. Need to do some serious mock up and see how things might fit.
-
On topic, I'm currently in talks with a Belgian company about a chassis for my beta22. Oh lord help me.
-
Anyone else having issues with the Forum today? I've been getting serious lag and downright refusal at times.

Happy Birthday!

Or maybe Duncan is getting kick backs?
-
dewWell, I'm convinced.

Nah, for $15 it's fun.
-
Looking forward to it!When they are finished.

Wonder how much a four deck balanced version would run?Note for the future, because upgrades are inevitable. Tribute makes a nanocrystalline cobalt core autoformer volume control (click on news, inductive volume control). It's ridiculously good.

No no no no, in keeping with his new trosian behavior he bought Darth Beyers.
Post the last thing you bought!
