  1. Happy Birthday!
  2. The bra. What the female chest would look like without them.
  3. What has Cryo treatment got to do with power conditioning?
  4. Riding boats, animals, and shit sleds, oh my.
  5. I bet DannyB would let me use his vinyl rig for a small fee.
  6. You might want to use various grades. It seems to work for various people I've seen (including Jude).
  7. Bottles, in general. Also, single blade razors.
  8. Got it. Better speakers have been on my list too, but so has getting a good permanent room to sit them up in that I'll be in for more then a year and has been since I left for college six years ago. And, yes, I graduated.
  9. Get four of those from here for $29.50 after shipping and cut up mouse pads underneath for floor discs as Amazon only has one left in stock under $4.87 before paying the $6.81 shipping. You may want to check out Parts Express too. They Dayton Speaker spike set also that looks professional and has metal floor discs included for $21 then four plumb bobs, but they are just over three ounces as the plumb bobs can be had. They also have Dayton isolation cones for $25.25 (no weight listed). Still have to add in shipping. Parts-Express.com - Search Results Parts-Express.com - Search Results
  10. Referring to speakers not being as sensitive with a higher noise floor? Or is there another reason IYO? (man, I am getting off topic here).
  11. Nothing against vinyl, I wish it were available for purchase in digital. First major regret I have had of not having a vinyl rig. It was a choice between either vinyl or a STAX rig. I choose STAX due to not having to rebuy music. :FAIL: (well, partially at least)
  12. I read a commend on Slashdot comparing it to the distortion inherent of vacuum tubes. I hope no one argues in favor of mp3s someday like they argue in favor of the distortion of vacuum tubes. I'm firmly in the soft clipping camp without "sizzle". Those don't even seem comparable.
  13. My logic is preparing for its judgement now. Why not try to use the new and old chip? Its not like its a vacuum tube that could possibly cause channel mismatching, and I didn't hear of anything else not working for certain yet.
  14. Alles Gute zum Geburtstag! Genie
  15. Too bad you never discovered the python script that would sync whatever you drag and dropped with a double click without itunes after being initialized once. http://shuffle-db.sourceforge.net/
  16. My brickwall did make a good change in the sound on my M3 to me. I've heard a lot about using an isolated circuit coming from the main because switching power supplies can dump noise into your house's electrical system and create sag from things such as a refrigerator's compressor coming on. I haven't tested any of that, so I can't tell you if that is true or not. I don't see any value above getting any power cord above a hospital grade at their price for the improvements that can almost always be done elsewhere with that money.
  17. Sweet, thank you. For other forums, I would also recommend the "nuke everything" extension for firefox. You can right click and remove whatever you want or select by clicking "nuke it" so that it fits more relevant stuff on the page and saves ink.
  18. Great sound and keeps your coffee steamy. 3rd degree burns come to mind. I think MOAR POWAH should become a brand name.
  19. I would like to have something new to listen to with me new Stax rig when it comes. </shameless>
  20. Alright. I won't read the super long and obviously partial review written by a stranger though.
  21. And wasn't said person banned for starting random shit and refusing to stop after argument was long over? EDIT: Ok, I will look forward to it.
  22. Planet Earth's Ice World on Blu-Ray
  23. Actually, no, she had the exact same thing happen it seems. I need mine cut out now too. Waiting until I don't have to stand in from of middle school students all day.
  24. Mom! Er, I was just cleaning it and it went off.
  25. I woke up, taught a day of early release for students, attended a faculty meeting involving county budget cuts and the non-renewal of ~1500 contracts after July including my own, then had a beginning teacher meeting to check on my expected growth goals. Finally ended my work day with a trip to the wood center with a purchase order for shop supplies. On personal time, I applied for teaching at a Tech summer camp, checked on the girlfriend who is still pilled up after dental surgery yesterday removing wisdom teeth from her jaw, and have been keeping tabs on my little brother who I also just found out this afternoon was rushed to the hospital today and was put under the knife for an appendectomy. I should hear back soon on his condition. In more upbeat news, I got some good maple turning blanks and some African padauk for a NABU enclosure panel that I'm housing my TPA Buffalo DAC in.
