Get well Brent. I hope that it all goes smoothly and the recovery is quick. That situation sucks.

Another bike tool, for the mountain bike this time. I finally rode it for the first time since my wipe out 6 weeks ago and I managed to not fall off this time but I had not straightened the bars and ended up with some pretty good back pain because I did not have a tool to do so during the ride....

And now what did you do TODAY?
Got dicked around by the bank some more. Here's hoping that I get to close sometime in the next week. I'm getting very tired of this.

Great news Dusty! Me: Crappy day all around but so it goes.

Holy Crap! The New Stax Omega Looks fierce! (Stax SR-009)
Obviously I measured it or I wouldn't have bothered. The nonlinearity impulse test depends a lot on the amplitude of the forcing so who knows. I'd assume if you're doing 90db or so you're probably still nicely linear in a lot of drivers but again who knows.

Holy Crap! The New Stax Omega Looks fierce! (Stax SR-009)
It depends how you're doing the measurement. I was doing a sinusoidal sweep measurement to get the frequency response curve vs a waterfall plot from an impulse which by definition gets a lot of non-linearity of the driver. Hence the room (or more likely the table the setup is sitting on) has plenty of time to get back and slightly modify the response. No belief involved.

Accessories for my new bike trailer/stroller

And now what did you do TODAY?
Baby shower which was fun. Then I put together the bike trailer/jogging stroller/stroller that we got from Meaghan's running friends. It's really nice but boy is it huge!

Saw a black widow spider had set up a web on a light pole that my dog likes to pee on. Sprayed it with bug spray because I had no where to relocate it to that was less trafficked and not near a elementary school

Holy Crap! The New Stax Omega Looks fierce! (Stax SR-009)
I'm well aware that room effects exist. That's why I used to do my measurements in several attitudes and positions. That does not mean that one can not gain lots of valid comparison information from those plots. A picture of a bear with a smudge is still different from a picture of a horse with different smudges.

Purrin as long as the measurements were made in the same setup a comparison between the graphs is perfectly valid regardless of the flaws you mention.

And now what did you do TODAY?
Hope things keep improving with your dad Al. Today we just ran our dryer for the first time after getting it serviced yesterday and we are now enjoying our first squeak free drying in years

LOL Well. It was an extra ultrasound and now it turns out there will be another one because he's measuring large (I guess my 6'5" genetics got passed along).

I inherited my godmothers ring and when I was going to propose to Meaghan I found out the rock was not a diamond so i bought a real rock. That said it worked fine for her for 50+ years of happy marriage. Edit: Nice choice on the ring

I try tread lightly as it is but sometimes my OCD gets the best of me. It's why I'm good at my job but sometimes it bites me in the ass rather hard. Oh well. No big deal in the grand scheme of things and the day is improving

And now what did you do TODAY?
Woke up and got dressed Could not find my wedding ring Missed an ultrasound appointment with my wife while looking for said ring Found the ring in a pocket of pants hanging in the closet that I had checked no less than 4 times before Got told by my wife how dissapointed she was that I prioratized the search over our child FML some days.....
