  1. Happy birthday!
  2. Happy birthday!
  3. That's the LCS 2 class. Had not realized they had active ride control fins much less that many of them
  4. Happy Birthday!
  5. I wouldn't worry about that (really) they are a big player in pro audio even if they have a unpolished web presence. Their stereo96 I tried out was awesome.
  6. I'm pretty intrigued by the new Mytek offering that takes DSD. Any thoughts?
  7. Happy Birthday!
  8. Get well Brent. I hope that it all goes smoothly and the recovery is quick. That situation sucks.
  9. We are going with this place: www.mybobs.com They are about the same prices asks Ikea, deliver down there, and it comes assembled
  10. Looks like Stickley = broke
  11. A ton of furniture from Target to go with the big pieces we are going to buy from a big discount store near us.
  12. Finally got word from the bank that everything is finally approved and we're on for closing on Monday. Next thing to do is buy a house worth of furniture
  13. Good job Shelly
  14. Another bike tool, for the mountain bike this time. I finally rode it for the first time since my wipe out 6 weeks ago and I managed to not fall off this time but I had not straightened the bars and ended up with some pretty good back pain because I did not have a tool to do so during the ride....
  15. Got dicked around by the bank some more. Here's hoping that I get to close sometime in the next week. I'm getting very tired of this.
  16. Great news Dusty! Me: Crappy day all around but so it goes.
  17. Obviously I measured it or I wouldn't have bothered. The nonlinearity impulse test depends a lot on the amplitude of the forcing so who knows. I'd assume if you're doing 90db or so you're probably still nicely linear in a lot of drivers but again who knows.
  18. It depends how you're doing the measurement. I was doing a sinusoidal sweep measurement to get the frequency response curve vs a waterfall plot from an impulse which by definition gets a lot of non-linearity of the driver. Hence the room (or more likely the table the setup is sitting on) has plenty of time to get back and slightly modify the response. No belief involved.
  19. Accessories for my new bike trailer/stroller
  20. Baby shower which was fun. Then I put together the bike trailer/jogging stroller/stroller that we got from Meaghan's running friends. It's really nice but boy is it huge!
  21. Saw a black widow spider had set up a web on a light pole that my dog likes to pee on. Sprayed it with bug spray because I had no where to relocate it to that was less trafficked and not near a elementary school
  22. I'm well aware that room effects exist. That's why I used to do my measurements in several attitudes and positions. That does not mean that one can not gain lots of valid comparison information from those plots. A picture of a bear with a smudge is still different from a picture of a horse with different smudges.
  23. Purrin as long as the measurements were made in the same setup a comparison between the graphs is perfectly valid regardless of the flaws you mention.
  24. Hope things keep improving with your dad Al. Today we just ran our dryer for the first time after getting it serviced yesterday and we are now enjoying our first squeak free drying in years
