And now what did you do TODAY?
Horrible day all around I hope it improves soon for all. Just horrible. Not horrible or anything but apparently someone strange logged into my facebook account which does not particularly fill me with confidence. I had to change passwords etc but I'm wondering where else they've been. Edit: Checked the news after this and how is HC japan doing?

And now what did you do TODAY?
Sorry to hear that Nate. As has been said I can't imagine what they are going through.

Post the last thing you bought!
If only it were true. Not only are they plastic but they are tubular so I get to crash like that either due to failure or a rolled tube (like Sagan did yesterday) I'm really excited that they have no weight limit, come with 4 year crash replacement and since they are bonded together you never need to true them

Well not paid yet but I'm getting 'em (with ceramic bearings for the hell of it): I figure riding is usually #3 on the list of things I do each week (sleep, work, ride, etc) so why the hell not. My wife asked me "why" and I explained that they wouldn't really make me any faster or competitive but they would make me hang on that last little bit more when the shit hits the fan in the race. Her very knowing response: "ohhhh so it's for our marriage" (i.e. happy Chris = good husband)

Whatever Happened To The Audiophile?
I agree with Dan. I think the overall music listening population is up so high these days that the true audiophiles share of the market has plummeted but I'd guess there are more individual audiophile now more than ever. That said I probably don't qualify as an audiophile much anymore. I haven't done dedicated listening lasting more than a song or two in months if no a year. Of course I still go ape shit over a poorly recorded recording so some of it is still there

Dude that sucks!

And now what did you do TODAY?
Nice. I did 80km with my team at a pace that was rather uncomfortable for me, actually I should say I did about 50km with them and spent about 30km dropped and trying to catch back on. Fuckers.

And now what did you do TODAY?
I would do it soon. When (if?) the federal government shuts down I doubt any refunds will be going anywhere. I'm just glad to get it before that, if they had not passed that bill on Wed it would be a ghost town around here today.

Watches
Nice watch. I don't think I'll ever pull off a yellow gold watch, I'm just too hard on cases.

Here's my Breitling Emergency: It's a bigger watch with all the antennae and stuff but because it's titanium it's pretty light.

Here's my Zenith which I would qualify as medium sized: I actually got my Breitling from my dad because it was too big for his wrist (and my mother wanted me to have a beacon if I fell off my boat ) Edit: sorry the pic came out so huge....

You guys are much more dedicated than I. I wore my Breitling Emergency for the first time in months over the last weekend and I'm back to my Zenith El Primero. I wish I could just sell one of them but both were gifts..... much rather have some new wheels. That said the Omegas are sexy...

And now what did you do TODAY?
Good luck. Me: Arrived back from a cycling trip at 3am after 8+ hours of driving (2+ behind the wheel) and preceded by 6 hours of cycling including climbing 5000ft or so over 80 miles. This was after 2 other days of climbing mountains including one where we had to turn around because the Blue Ridge Parkway has been closed due to snow and fog.
