Congrats to your daughter.
Well if you come up to drop her off we should meet up for dinner if you like. I haven't seen any headphone friends in way too long.
The ASPCA recommends that if you find a kitty and don't see any signs you just keep them rather than turn over to a shelter hoping the owner finds it. Bird in the hand and all that...
Barbados is where I grew up and consider home. I was born in Grenada but we moved to Barbados when I was 6 months old. Now I'm a Canadian citizen as well and the USCIS generally smiles on them so I'm applying as a Canadian.
I have a Kirk BH-1 (used to be one of the #1 contenders before RRS seemed to knock them off) and I've been pretty happy with it but with the big glass (400+mm) on it the sag can become a massive PITA but my impression is that all of them will have some amount of that. It is what it is.
^congrats on whatever it is (can't see the photos)
Me: Wireless security sensors for my new backyard office and basement door. I came to realize that some of my bikes cost more than my car is worth and therefore not having them behind an alarmed door/windows wasn't smart.
Messed around with my new Squeebox touch and the web interface for the server. These things are very cool.
I wish my f'ing electrician would come and finish my damn shed so I can start moving stuff into it.
Made a donation to the Salvation Army towards tornado relief.
I hope anyone around here who lives in the affected areas and/or knows anyone who does is doing ok.
Moved my cable modem and old router out of the office and set up a repeater/bridge to the office desktop/future slimserver in preparation for my 2 new slim devices (and new higher speed router) tomorrow....
Cool. The only thing I'm not enjoying is having to convert 4000+ tracks to flac and all that's involved with organizing it etc. I will also have to keep a separate WMA lossy library for sync to my media player at this point. dBpoweramp is making it reasonably painless.
