Day three of single parenting my two while the wife is out of town. It wouldn't be that bad except I am under a massive gun right now at work. She's back for 36 hours or so weekend and then 4 more days. I love my kids but this is exhausting. Couldn't bring myself to work after getting them to bed.

I really hope that the ice doesn't happen. I have way too much crap to get done at work and I have been through 2 massive ices storms (once in Kingston Ontario and once in Michigan) and that was enough.

Since I don't care about football I went down to the basement and lubed the chain just in case and did a bit of wiping down but it really wasn't bad at all.

Entered everything into Turbo Tax but can't file for a few weeks when some schedules are released. Want our money now damn it.

I did 20 miles. I guess I should have checked over my bike a bit after. Didn't seem that salty. New Mad Fiber clinchers ride great and the new style rear has pretty awesome lateral stiffness it seems.

Sufferfest is more entertaining than Spinervals in my experience. I did the buy everything last year for Sufferfest but I think that they put out a few videos since.

My windshield washers froze up twice. Put better fluid in. Furnace control board blew a fuse (probably from the repair tech yesterday not putting something away right) and my wife was stuck at home freezing. I thankfully got it fixed. Ordered a new 410a outdoor unit to replace our old R22 unit that shat the bed for the last time.

I have other wheels I could train with but to be honest I only make it out on it once or twice a week so I will ride with those. I have a Giant TCR Advanced SL with Zipp 404s that is my take to work and training bike

That sounds like a really good effort Ben! I wish I was able to get out today but I will hit the gym and see how it goes.

What mileage did you end up with Ben? I've got a cold so I'm staying in. A couple people I know are doing 55 miles tomorrow and I want to go. Transferred the tubular wheels today. I will miss those wheels but it really didn't make any sense to keep them at all. This way they pay for 2/3 of the new ones.

Thanks guys. The buyer hasn't bothered me to pick up the tubulars. I may just leave it and hope he forgot. Gains about 0.7 lbs compared to the tubulars. 15.74 lbs. Also ordered a new fork with lawyer tabs after Calfee gave me a significant discount.

The dynamics of a bunch of things have changed at work and I am not going to be able to make the week I proposed for going to SC. I may be able to do it a few weeks later but I am not sure where my fitness will be as I am working almost all the time until March. Sorry Ben
