My Amarra 4 is my digital source, phono pre (Due to the lack of mic preamps on mine which is an LIO-8, requires an SUT or HO cart.) and a preamplifier. I am also using the headphone out with my JH13's and it is definitely up to the task. It's probably the best home amp that I've used with the JH13's in terms of it being dead silent, no hiss whatsoever. It is a significant step up from the ULN-2, which I really enjoyed during the time I owned.

I hope one of the exhibitors is bringing the Merlins. Merlin is not in the list of attendees. I want to hear zMerlin, Salk and Amphion. I think Saturday will be all day auditioning speakers and some amps since I'm set source wise. I'm probably set all the way around but I am tempted by speakers at the moment, despite liking my Amphions

What's wrong with grilling in November?

That sucks Dinny. I had one vacation where I had to fly to a hearing that I had to cover and could not get moved.

I used Sonic Console and picked the 304 Sonicloop Digital, if that means anything to you. The thing is lit up like a digital Christmas tree.
