I am told there are two pairs of Quads remaining if anyone is interested.

My wife asked me to call myself an idiot after I suggested that as she was too busy.

My wife just called with the estimate for the trip to Europe and after I got back in my chair I have put myself on a purchasing freeze. The only exception is the wifi tablet. This will have to wait for the end of the year.

I think I will hold off for a while. The LIO-8 isn't going anywhere. Shiny things are good.

I used my pico dac with Alex's Quads in my office and will do the same when mine arrive.

Just jailbreak your phones. The ability to keep apps open in the background alone make the few slight issues worth it. Add to that the ability to tether make it a requirement for iPad owners with iPhones, imo.

Within 30 minutes of sending money for the A5's, Jeff finds me a pair of Quad 12L actives on a'gon, which I will be paying for shortly. Anyone want some bamboo A5's.

At least we stopped drinking after the intermission. Anyone that has a chance to catch Wilco and likes the music must see these guys. I've seen them 3 or 4 times and every time it's a great time.

Mine just came back from a repair and I think the fit is even better than before. I've been using my FreQShows for the last week and I can't say how bad they are in comparison to the 13's. I know they don't sound better than before but damn, these things are good. Sorry Phil .

The demos were almost like a pair of 530's but bigger, as I recall. The tips are replaceable, I used the foam tips when I auditioned them. How close they are to the customs depends on how good a fit and seal you get with the demo version. I had trouble with the fit and they were still better than any IEM I had heard before. My customs are even better.

The Quads were borrowed from Alex. I hope to have a pair of A5's soon, waiting for a shipping quote.

I bought this a while ago as a gift for my son but he told me he didn't need it so I kept it around figuring it would come in handy. Well now that the Quads are gone here is my office rig. Oh how the mighty have fallen: The truth is it is pretty adequate for the office.
