Now I have rooms booked at 3 hotels. I guess I will stay at the Homewood Suites. I paid $129 and that was using a AAA discount. I'm going to cancel the Courtyard Rooms and keep my Ybor room for now but leaning towards the Homewood.

Take good care of the SR-Omegas, they will be mine the following week.

I just booked 2 double bed rooms at the Courtyard Marriott on Cass St. which is 2.7 miles from Ybor City. I booked them for Saturday and Sunday night. I also have a room at the Hampton in Ybor. Let's figure out what we need. The rooms at the Courtyard are $178/night with taxes. Not cheap but the only thing close and decent.

Those would be kind of cool. I like that they have a remote. The question is will the dac be as good as the Pico Dac.

I thought I had reserved one weeks ago. I just got one at the Hampton Inn in Ybor. I've stayed there before and it's not bad. It looks to be sold out now as well. It has a king bed but I believe it also has a couch so anyone that wants to crash is welcome.

These are pretty close to pristine. The pair I had a few years ago, were pretty ratty. I had to buy new pads all around. I think I still have an extra headband I bought laying around somewhere.

Aura, those HT3s are beauties. One of these days I will hear a pair to see if they are all show and no go.

Never doubt my ability to buy the gear I believe I want, only to sell it and then to buy it again after realizing it was a mistake to sell it, on and on.....

I would have used it as a preamp if I were keeping it. I am back to doing that with my SS 302. For some reason, it seemed the 302 and my preamp were interacting causing a hum when I used the 302 as a phono or used a separate phono pre. Now that the preamp is out of the system, the phono noise level is down to what I consider acceptable. I think what little is left will be eliminated once I add a step up to the set up.

Ownership. The HE60's came up and after I bought them, an opportunity to get the SR-Omega came up so I grabbed it.

I will have them both here in about 2 weeks. The only problem is I may not have my new amp yet.

Rocking out to Alex's 12L's sourced balanced out of the 302. Not positioned well as they are sitting on top of my floor standers. They sound great. I look forward to trying them in the office. This my first time hearing them and I think I now understand what so many of you have said over the years about these speakers.
