I'm not sure I want to risk it with my brother in law and I doing it. In the meantime, I'm probably going to move the build in cabinets and desk in the office to another room and move my gear back in there.

The base is 26 lbs and the platter is 20 lbs. The battery and motor are about 27 lbs (all according to the fedex tracking updates).

Thanks Haj. That's my Berendsen preamp. I am probably holding off on the Modwright and keeping this for now. I'll see how it mates with the McCormack DNA-.1 Rev A before thinking about changing.

By the way, the beautiful maple (matches my speakers) sandbox was made by swt61. There was some minor damage during shipping so I don't have sand in it at the moment.

Bumped the gain up a bit on the phono stage and against doctors orders I am using the beta to drive me speakers. Sorry Nate, I needed a break from headphones. Volume is at about 9:30.

I've waited about 3 months for this, which in SP time is the speed of light, so it is not going anywhere anytime soon. Really, I mean it.

Finally:

I've considered a pre order. They aren't going to be out until March, from what I can tell. I will hopefully get a chance to hear them some time after that and make my own mind up. I'm pretty happy with my current rig. If they turn out to be as good as what is being said about them now, I would consider picking them up. I don't see any reason for me to rush to order them. Oh yeah, then there is my no new gear thing.

Sorry about the delay. The keyboard and mouse work fine for the typical office stuff. I never install the software that comes with these wireless keyboards and mice so I don't have all the features. Jay, awesome rig! Now if only I could get my hands on a tt.
