RIP Rev. CT Vivian, another civil rights leader, Freedom Riser, MLK "field general", and Obama Medal of Freedom recipient. I saw his obit on the Newshour last night before heading about John Lewis, who is more widely known and beloved today. I thought this morning that his death was going to be overshadowed by Lewis', and realized I had done that myself by posting only the latter last night. Rest in Power, Rev. and Rep.
