What's in da baaaahhhhhxxxxx? Some parts. Darker blue than we thought. Happiest kid in the world in this moment. **BRENT**

  • Liked the Turbo Vado Super Light so much, I bought another one in Michigan. Same silver and black. We couldn't find Claire an SL in Northern Michigan or online so we got her the  regular Turbo Vado 5.

  • I bought an e-bike. Specialized Turbo Vado 5.0 Super Light 2022 edition. Claire got a 4.0 step-through.

That sound like a great plan. I had a blast today!

Maybe next weekend?

Chris, that sounds great. Either Sat or Sun morning, start 9-10, is OK with me.

Oh, man, that is terrible....

Man, Tyler Phinney broke his leg. Bummer.

i think i could do that

i want to start riding around town but am afraid. cars do not appreciate bikes on the roads

I was 55m from the finish line today. It was a pretty crazy sprint to the finish as a pack of 13 sprinted it out. I missed "The Wall" as they were calling it, a 22% grade short climb off of a tight right turn... it's beastly. I talked to one of the Litespeed shop guys who were out there, and they rode the course this weekend. He turned the corner and said "I'm walking this, guys," and I don't think anyone could blame him.

These guys were averaging about 25MPH for the 102 mile ride. With 3-4 climbs up the mountain and I think 7 climbs up "the wall", I just can't imagine.

Chris, Ben, Raffy... one day, you guys will have to come ride this route. I'll drive the support vehicle.

that would be great if you can make it. Wouldn't you have to start driving at an ungodly early hour?

.....

Justin, you can crash at my house.  I have one extra bedroom that hasn't been given away to the hobbies.

Is this in dc or lakehouse?

Rock Creek Park in MD/DC I believe.

I was talking DC/MD but I'm only available on Sunday (Saturday is my youngest's birthday party).

Great thanks. I think 9:30 should be doable but I need to get blessing from my wife. I'll update tonight.

I'm going to try and show up about an hour or so early and do some riding before hand. See you all there.
