I think it's only fair that your graphics designer friend gets the cable if his design wins.

my graphic designer friend was supposed to get back to me tonight with some designs, though he didn't. i'm hoping he will tomorrow. if his design (assuming he bothered!) wins, can i still have the cables, by proxy? :)

Sure I will fax them to your friend.

disturbing images popped up when i google imaged "headcase" -

How long is this contest going to run?

I'm waiting for my Cintiq to come back from Wacom. Sent it out for repairs, so I'm a bit hobbled right now.

Wait until Ed gets his tablet [or whatever he is talking about] back... you might as well give him the cables in advance anyways. Unless blessingx steps up to the plate. :)

I have my tablet (though I don't use it much for logos) and would be willing to give it a go too if you want.

a pretzel may be appropriate.....

yeah

PRETZEL!

You know...that's actually a really damn good idea.

I'll give this a try sometime over the next week or so. I used to be a freelance graphics designer (Veniogenesis Studios) and designed a few logos for local small businesses and t-shirts. I quit for a year until just about three weeks ago. I recently designed a logo for our school's Varsity Math Team 2006 t-shirt. I might scan the design and post it later.

Haha, yeah. We receive varsity letters for math team. As well as computer team. I know I know. It's sad.

Our math team has been considered to be one top high school math teams in the nation for numerous years. We've won a number of national competitions over the past decade or so. Our computer team is quite famous as well.

Fair enough :D

Alright, give me something to start with.

You guys want something more graphic, cartoony?

Funny?

-Ed

Haha, that leaves the playing field quite open. I haven't thought much about it yet, but I'm not sure which way to go either. :o

I'm thinking something like this (only, I'm not an artist, so this could be done better -- I just frankensteined two plagiarized pics together).

Also, it'd be nice if the straightjacket vaguely resembled a pretzel -- that way, we work the whole pretzel thing in.

And the straightjacket should be a lot less detailed -- the detail should match the amount of detail in the headphones.
