February 15, 201610 yr I'm holding out for that Arsebiter amp that Dusty posted about today in another thread.

February 16, 201610 yr McInstosh are good at doing what they usually do but I do wonder just how much Denon tech is in there.
February 16, 201610 yr That list is like opening a bag of shit. You get more surprised reading each page you flip. While the Oppo HA-1 was ok for what it does at its price point the Cypher Labs tube amp and the Mac MHA100 has got to be some of the worse sounding amps for its value that I have heard.
February 16, 201610 yr O2. just because NwAvGuY did ALL his research and has the figures to prove that his amp is the bestest. And, also becuz he wuz banned over at Hype-Fi.

February 21, 201610 yr Sounds like a report on dealers from the remaining brick and mortar stores that deal with high end audio having a bitchfest.
February 21, 201610 yr Agreed; huge numbers of bricks and mortar businesses have gone out of business because they have failed to change with the times. High end audio is not immune to this. Good case in point, Analogue Seduction http://www.analogueseduction.net/ who are principally an on-line high-end retailer. You can book a demo (in the guy's front room), but most of his business is via web sales. There are many such examples worldwide, all of which erode traditional bricks and mortar stores.
