October 5, 200718 yr Any suggestions for online photo gallery space, free, or reasonably priced? Since my contributing membership at Head Fi is expiring, and I am not renewing, I need to rehost my photos somewhere.
October 5, 200718 yr I really like pbase, seems pretty reasonable to me and offers unlimited linking/bandwidth as far as I know. I can't remember the name of the other one that a lot of the photogs that I know use, if I remember it I'll post again.
October 5, 200718 yr If you use Safari & Mac (ddin't know if you are Mac/Safari user), avoid photobucket - it has some issues with uploading pics. Speaking of which, I need to get myself another photo gallery myself, thanks for starting this thread!
October 5, 200718 yr I got the "pro" for pay package on flickr. For like $25 a year, you get unlimited bandwidth, unlimited storage, and a personalized url. And you can restrict things to be viewable to specific groups. I used this to replace my own colo'd server that was costing me $25/month.
October 5, 200718 yr i use imageshack, with the imageshack toolbar in firefox. Its fantastic. My favorite part is being able to rightclick any picture on the web and upload it to imageshack, very handy.
October 5, 200718 yr http://photobucket.com I've never seen them delete images (as in really old images), and 25 GB bandwidth/1 GB storage is plenty for me.
November 1, 200718 yr Has anyone used Google Picasa to host pictures on forums? I don't think you can hotlink to Picasa.
November 1, 200718 yr I don't think you can hotlink to Picasa. Ah damn the interface and Picasa2 is a cool program \
November 11, 200718 yr It probably depends on how you set the permission for the Picasa photo album. I've hotlinked a photo from my public gallery below. from left to right: yours truly, my first son, my cousin, and my second son
November 11, 200718 yr Wow, that's news to me. I wonder if they changed that in one of the more recent versions of the Picasa software/host/ect. I remember trying it a year or so ago and couldn't get it to work and thought I found threads were others had experienced the same problem. Guess I'll start using those albums again, thanks Young!

I'm pretty sure I've linked pics form my picasa before.
